Alexandra (Alex) Williams

Alexandra (Alex) Williams is a manager in the Bridgespan Group’s Boston office. Since joining the organization in 2017, Alex has worked with a range of clients, including collaborative philanthropic platforms, advocacy and criminal justice organizations, and diverse coalitions and network organizations focused on issues ranging from youth development to climate change – helping them develop strategies to grow, scale, and sustain their impact. Across all of her work, she brings a focus on advancing equity and justice. Alex co-leads our nonprofit advocacy practice and is also a leader in Bridgespan’s internal work on racial equity. Her publications include: Making the Case: Philanthropy’s Role in the Movement to Reimagine Criminal Justice.

She has worked with a wide range of clients, including collaborative philanthropic platforms and a range of leading criminal justice organizations, helping them develop strategies to grow, scale, and sustain their impact. She has also partnered with other advocacy and youth-serving networks. Across all of her work, she brings a focus on advancing equity and justice.

Alex is also a leader in Bridgespan’s internal work on racial equity and co-leads our nonprofit advocacy practice. 

Alex joined Bridgespan in 2017 and holds a BA with distinction from Yale University in Political Science.
